Edna Raines Obituary
Born October 4, 1928 to Marion Hubbard Albritton and Julia Victoria Albritton of Nokomis, Florida. Edna was a wonderful homemaker, loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and was a wonderful cook.
Mrs. Raines was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Edward Raines, two sons: James Edmond Raines (Sharol) and Christopher Raines. She is survived by 5 children: Larry "Ricky" Irwin (Rita), Terry Wayne Raines (Barbara), Tammy Raines Duval, Kimberly Raines Bartley (Rick Bartley), Dara Raines Priest (Bryan Priest). She also leaves behind one sister: Jean Albritton McGhee, 9 grandchildren, and 13 greatchildren.
The visitation will be held from 11:30-12:30 am on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola Florida. The service will begin at 12:30 pm and the burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at Pensacola Naval Air Station at 1:15 pm.

Its been a year already since my mother's passing and it is beyond unbelievable that she is no longer on this earth! Everyday I think about her and my father and wish we could go back in time to make more great memories together! You never have enough time with your loved ones before they leave you, so make the best of what time you do have and always show them as much love as you possibly can!

The staff at Oak Lawn Dignity Memorial did a wonderful job with my moms setup, viewing and graveside memorial, she was an absolute angel, as well as our fathers back in September 15, 2010. We greatly appreciate all you have done for our parents and making our family so comfortable while this was going on! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and may God bless you all!
