My heartfelt condolence to the family of Eddie, May God, comfort & hold everyone during this difficult time. There are so many beautiful things I could write about my cousin, but one story, in particular, I hold unto dearly. About 2 years ago around Christmas time, Eddie told me he bought his Christmas. He went on to tell me he pick out a small tree with thin branches. To my amazement, I asked why would you buy such a tree Eddie? His answer left me speechless!!! This tree reminds me of myself when I first went to God, for I was broken & a mess. God's great love touched me & renewed me giving me a new life to live. Eddie ended the conversation by saying we all were once that little tree. Eddie loved to talk about God & I loved listening for he was a man of much wisdom & insight. God, saw Eddie getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so He put his arms around him and whispered " Come home with Me " There will be no more pain, no more sorrow, only Joy in the house of the Lord. Sadly missed, but never forgotten Cousin, Maureen Kirby
