Ed, My heart fell when I learned you had passed. You were my friend and always raised me out of unhappiness. I dug for a 1989/90-ish photo in the country - you had fallen asleep on the couch - my toddler daughter Lindsey had climbed on your lap and fallen asleep also with her thumb in her mouth. We had a late night making hot air lanterns and releasing them into the night sky. You and your beautiful son where there with much happiness, beauty, and mirth. I hope you are now experiencing such happiness, beauty, and peace ... and add love!
Kevin and I will always remember you as a kind friend with a good true heart, and generous COLSA Corworker.
Lindsey (now age 27) will always remember you as the man who let her light fires with the lighter when she was 4. Lindsey and I, (along with my husband Kevin and son Sam) will make some hot air lanterns and release for you and yours. I want to say a prayer as they rise. I hope you now feel the comfort and peace and love we all wish for you. Be certain of our prayers for you and your beloved family, now and forever.
