FEDEROUCH
EDWARD NEAL, JR.
Edward Neal Federouch Jr, age 63, of Venetia, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Allegheny General Hospital, following a stroke suffered while at work on December 22, 2017. Ed was born on October 4, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Edward and Mary (Chickis) Federouch. The youngest of three children, with older sisters, Darlene Wagner and Bernie Federouch. At the age of ten, he started his first business, pony rides on Steubenville Pike. He was a 1973 graduate of Montour High School where he played tackle on the football team. Ed worked three jobs concurrently while in high school. He attended Clarion University on a football scholarship. He graduated from Robert Morris University in 1977 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration while working full-time, raising a family, and building a house. With the assistance of his father, Ed built the house he and his family lived in for over 20 years and now his daughter calls it home. In 1974, he married Dr. Audrey Guskey. They were the proud parents of two children, Ed and Evonne; three grandchildren, Jake, Luke, and Cassidy. Thanks to Ed's love and support, Audrey was able to earn a doctorate degree from Pitt in marketing. In 1979, he started his own business with a single pile of dirt, a backhoe, and a self-created topsoil screen. He had successfully operated the largest landscape supply company in Western PA, Federouch Landscape Supply, for the last 39 years. Ed worked hard and loved what he did every day. He devoted his life to his business and beloved family. He instilled in his children and grandchildren a strong sense of the importance of working hard while being generous and doing what's right. On July 19, 2008, he married Yvonne (Polosky). They traveled to 19 countries and many places throughout the US together. He and his wife resided in Venetia with David and Denee Polosky, and Ed's beloved Golden Retriever, Chloe Marie, Rottweiler, Costello, and cats, Dottie and Willow. Ed was incredibly hardworking, strong, loyal, generous, accomplished, honorable, and an avid learner and teacher who genuinely loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed working, traveling, exploring the world, and trying to make it better, watching his grandchildren play sports, playing with his dog, and eating fish sandwiches. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Polosky) Federouch; stepson, David Polosky and his wife Denee, Venetia; son, Edward N. Federouch III and his wife Jenn; three grandchildren, Jake, Luke, and Cassidy, Presto; and daughter, Evonne (Federouch) Beasom and her husband Andy, Presto. Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, businessman, and friend. He will be missed by so many whose lives he has touched. His family is so proud of him and will always carry his memory in their hearts. Family and friends received for a celebration of Ed's life, Thursday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., in the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333), where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Melrose Cemetery in Bridgeville, PA, by his parents and family. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Carnegie Boys and Girls Club: 630 Washington Avenue, Carnegie, PA 15106. View and add condolences at: warcholfuneralhome.com

Ed was a friend of mine in High School. He played offensive tackle and I was a running back. Ed blocked for me, and he was good. Away from the field Ed was a scholar and one heck of a nice guy. During one of the games our senior year, Ed received a cut on the bridge of his nose, it was bleeding profusely, as face cuts do, but he waited until half time for some stitch work. At the time, I had never beed cut or had stitches. Dr. Wojiack let me watch him stitch Ed's nose. And Ed talked to me the whole time! I'll never forget that. Yvonne, I met you and one of your sons in a parking lot. You were in a Fedrouch truck. I had been unable to attend Ed's viewing so I went over to speak with you. I hope that you and your family are doing well.

I will alway remember when my dad (his Uncle Ted) would take me to guide Little Eddie's (that's how we all referred him since his dad was Uncle Eddie) ponies. My cousin, Little Eddie, would be working the booth collecting money and greeting customers. I'd spend hours going around and around in a circle guiding those ponies for him. Since I was only 8, Little Eddie would pay me with pop and chips (what 8 yr old wouldn't LOVE that deal). Man I miss those days. Eddie was always a great business man and displayed that great quality at the young age of 10!

Give my dad, Grandma and your dad a huge hug for me. Until I see all of you again, memories like these will get me through the not so easy days knowing you all are gone.
