Edward S. Healy

Edward S. Healy, age 80, of Crystal Lake, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Boca Community Hospital, Boca Raton, FL. He was born June 16, 1920, in Chicago, to Stanley and Margaret Rosenstiel Healy. He was married November 14, 1942, in Savannah, GA, to Nancy Schellenberger Healy. Mr. Healy served in the U.S. Army during WWII and currently was owner of Sub - Sem Inc. of Crystal Lake. He was a longtime member of the Crystal Lake Country Club and Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton, FL. Survivors include his wife Nancy of Crystal Lake; two daughters: Karen A. Lyons of Crystal Lake and Deborah A. Healy of Woodstock; seven grandchildren: Edward Healy, Mark Healy, Shannon Lyons, Jessica Lyons, Gretchen Lyons, Gavin Healy McGue and Grant Healy McGue; he is preceded in death by his parents and a son: Edward ''Skip'' Healy in 1980. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m., at Saint Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Crystal Lake, with Fr. Geoffrey Wirth officiating. Visitation will be at church one hour prior to the Funeral Mass. Inurnment will be at Crystal Lake Memoral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the charity of your choice.
