Dear Oscar and Family,
I met Ed a few times while visiting your home many years ago. My memory of him was that he was kind, soft-spoken and extremely shy. I also remember hearing stories from my oldest brother about how brillant he was. I also want to say that Oscar and Beth had such an impact on me as a young teenager and they are one of the reasons I came to faith in Christ. They will always have a place reserved in my heart and I pray for them often. God bless the Lay family.

My prayers are with the Lay family, who were wonderful to me in my teen years. Ed was one of my best friends in high school, and I've thought about him often over the years.
Again, my heartfelt sympathies to you.
