Edward H. Nelson, 68, of Tarpon Springs, died quietly at home July 3, 2012 following a brief illness. Ed was born in Des Moines, Iowa but was along time resident of Pinellas County. He served in the US Army and worked as an auto mechanic for Walt's Chevron for many years. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and is survived by his wife of 20 years, Laura L.; a daughter, Kelly, 2 sisters, Pat Kennedy, Carole Coberly and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1700 Keystone Rd, Tarpon Springs Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, All Saints Church or Suncoast Animal League.

Laura, Kelly , Pat and Carol, and the rest of the extended family too many to name , we extend our heartfelt condolences in the loss of our brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Your husband, brother and father, Ed was a such a wonderful ,gentle, sweetheart of a man, and we're lucky to have had him in our lives. He'll be in our hearts forever. God bless.
