Edward S. Roberts

Edward S. Roberts, 69, of Saxonburg, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at UPMC St. Margaret. Born March 20, 1951, in Tarentum, he was the son of Howard R. Roberts and Nora Jean Miller Roberts. He worked as a laborer for Best Tire and Glenshaw Glass. Surviving are his wife, Michele (Birckbichler) Roberts, whom he married March 17, 1995; two daughters, Jayne A. Roberts, of Springdale, and Hannah (Richard) Osborne, of Butler; his brother, Howard W. "Mike" Roberts, of Volant; his sister, Darla (Bill) Linn, of Bairdford; and four grandchildren, Isabella Osborne, Richard "Trey" Osborne, Ciarra Osborne and Xavier Osborne. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ed adored his family and pets. He loved the simple things in life, always greeting others with a welcome handshake and beaming smile. He will be remembered fondly for his loving nature and generous laugh. There will be no visitation or services. FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
