EDWARD A. STUCKEY, 84, died June 14, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born in Milesburg, Pa., he was a World War II Army Air Corp pilot and a member of American Legion Post 296. He was an ITT engineering graduate and later became plant manager at Essex Wire, retiring in the mid 1970's. In 1983 he started Stuckey's Greenhouses in Fort Wayne. Survived by daughter, Cleis A. Pipino of West Hartford Conn.; sons, Gordon E. Stuckey and Mark (Julie) Stuckey, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Nicholas and Maria Pipino of West Hartford, Conn. and Sarah, Kendra and Zachary Stuckey, all of Fort Wayne. Service is 11 a.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens with military graveside honors by American Legion Post 296. Memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or American Legion Post 296.
