Edward "Eddie" Sullivan, 72, Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother

Lake Worth, FLA - Edward "Eddie" Sullivan, a man known for his larger-than-life personality, love for family, and unmatched passion for motor vehicles, passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024, at the age of 72. Eddie, a devoted husband of 49 years to Joanne (Page), was also a loving father, brother, and grandfather who leaves behind a legacy of humor, warmth, and devotion.

Born on August 4th, 1952, in Mission Hill, Roxbury, Eddie was the son of the late Robert and Loretta Sullivan and brother to the late Nancy Douglas of Quincy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne, sons Derek Page of Murphy, North Carolina and David Page of Lake Worth, Florida, and grandchildren Jordan, McKenna, Taryn, Jill, and Sidney, who brought him immeasurable joy.

Eddie is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Bobby and Cathy Sullivan of Quincy, Dennis and Eileen Sullivan of Gambrills, MD, Patrick and Rita Sullivan of Hanover, Brian Sullivan of Quincy, Lauretta Sullivan and Steve White of Wrentham, Joan Sullivan of Quincy, Janice and Mark Chapman of Rockland, and John Douglas of Quincy. He also leaves behind Joanne's siblings and their spouses David and Janet Page of Holbrook and Sandy and Matthew Keenan of Norwell, and his mother-in-law Katherine Page of Quincy. He was the proud uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Eddie was also a member of the Building Wrecker's Union (Local 1421) and had a true satisfaction for that work as well. He was most proud to have been a crew member for the demolition of the old Boston Garden.

Eddie's love for bikes and cars was matched only by his fierce loyalty to his family and friends. His friendships were later extended to those who were "In the Wind" where he was both giving and grateful.

A celebration of Eddie's life will be conducted in the Quincy, Ma. area soon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eddie's honor to the American Cancer Society.
