VANISTENDAEL EDWARD F., "LEFTY"
Age 85, on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 of Baldwin Boro. Loving husband of 62 years to Florence E. (Prior); beloved father of Linda (Joe) Zaricki and Pamela (Richard) Winter; son of the late Ferdinand "Frenchy" and Essie M.; brother of Essie Cecelia and the late Morris; proud grandfather of Holly, Kelly, Richard and Lisa (Malick); great grandfather of Shaley, Shayne, Riley, Ciana and Julian. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army/Air Force during WWII. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
