We never knew Brother Wegman, but we followed this story so closely and our hearts are tied up with his family at this time. We wondered if he had actually worked on the remodel of our Kingdom Hall recently. It was remoured that he may have, although we don't know for sure. In any case, it is evident that he was loved and treasured by the many congregations of Jehovah's people far and wide. We look forward to the resurrection when we can meet this fine brother and enjoy the real life........everlasting life with no more pain and suffering again. To the family: thank you for your fine spirit as seen on the news...nonvindictive yet fair. That contributed to a spirit so different than what we see in the news all the time. Jehovah's name continues to be held on high......drawing perhaps more people to Him. What a tragic way for our brother to die, yet perhaps others may still be drawn to Jehovah due to your spirit and his steadfastness. Your friends in the faith.....

I was stunned and saddened to find out about Ed's death and the circumstances surrounded it. I am glad to have had priviledge of knowing him and I will never forget all of his help and his loving manner encouraging me to continue serving Jehovah God. I look forward to the time when I can again see & visit with him and his family in the near future. My Love & prayers are with you Judy, Phil & Mark. Your Sister, Carie Davis (aka Cyndy Elliott)

Our entire family expresses our condolences to the family of Edward Wegman. We had the privilege of knowing him back in Missouri. He was a kind and loving Christian man.
With our sincere expressions of sympathy.
