Eileen Walsh Obituary
Eileen married Francis Walsh in 1962, and they had four children: Steve (Carol) Walsh, Dan (Vickie) Walsh, Sheryl ( Joe) Bennett and Jennifer ( Jason) Ricks. Fran and Eileen divorced after many years together but remained friends.
Eileen became a teacher at St. Basil's Catholic School, where she educated hundreds of students before retiring in 2007. Following her retirement, Eileen regularly volunteered for the American Cancer Society as well as visiting housebound senior citizens in their homes.
Eileen was also very spiritual and later in life strongly believed in the healing benefits of meditation and Reiki, along with the power of prayer and positive energy. She was resilient and lived life on her terms, and she always found something to be thankful for even with the challenges she faced during the last few years of her life. She loved with all her heart.
Eileen is survived by four children, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her ashes will be spread in the Carquinez Strait per her wishes.
May she rest in peace.

I have lots of memories of your mom...in just a year she had taught me a lot in life. She never complains she´s always thankful in everything we do for her. She´s a great woman and I know that she can feel my love for her coz I can also feel how she loves me too! Miss Eileen wherever you are I will always value the memories we shared the together...God bless!

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. I remember your mom from way back when Sherry and I were little girls playing together, because our mom´s were friends (I guess that´s how we knew each other)?! Like my mom, she became more than just your mom later in life. She became a great friend, who loved spending time with all of her kids and grandkids. I´m so sorry for your loss. Try to remember all of the amazing times you had together. One day your tears will be replaced with smiles and laughter as you remember your mom, grandma, great grandma, cousin, and friend
