Elaine Knack Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 6, 2025.
Elaine E. Knack, age 71, died Sunday, October 5, 2025, at New Perspective Senior Living and Memory Care in West Bend.

Visitation for Elaine will be at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1550 Wildwood Road in West Bend, on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Funeral services will follow at church on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Darren Knoll and Rev. Jeffrey Enderle will officiate. There will be a light lunch and a time to visit with the family immediately following the service.

Elaine was born on July 6, 1954, to Alfred and Fern Bublitz in Hartford. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1972. Elaine worked in sales her entire professional career. She loved baking, scrapbooking, making cards, playing bunco and socializing with family and friends. She was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Above all else, Elaine valued her faith and her family. She was a long-time member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in West Bend where she made many friends. She also assisted with WELS Christian Aid and Relief in both Florida and Wisconsin. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She was so proud of "the girls"-daughters Amy and Amanda. Her memorable laugh and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.

Elaine is survived by her daughters, Amy Knack of Naperville, Illinois and Amanda Knack of Madison; siblings, Daniel Bublitz of Lake Wales, Florida, Janis (Rev. Jerome) Enderle of Theresa, James Bublitz of Reeseville and Kenneth Bublitz of Plainfield, Illinois; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt Elvira Schlitt, sister Dorothy Justman, brother-in-law, Roger Justman, and nephew, Japheth Justman.

If desired, memorials may be made in Elaine's name to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in West Bend.
