CORDELE — Funeral services for Elaine H. Worley were held at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Service with the Rev. Sonny Dorminey and the Rev. Bobby Sheffield officiating. Loving words of remembrance were given by Dale Worley, Wendi Worley and Monica Branch.The service was opened with a CD of “I Can Only Imagine.” Donna Dixon and Jerry Hill sang “In The Garden,” accompanied by Randy Conley, pianist. Jerry Hill also sang “Go Rest High On That Mountain,” and led the congregation in singing “Because He Lives.”Pallbearers were Ashleigh Mixon, Jack Brown, Lewis Little, Brian Hobbs, Leroy Johnson and Steve Southwell. Serving as honorary pallbearers were deacons and members of Oklahoma Baptist Church, Grady McBryant, Jimmy McBryant, Lee Clary, Eddie Luke, Harold Worley, Philip Worley, Carlos Calhoun, Lavaughn Cook and Matthew Mackey. Others serving as honorary pallbearers were members of the Cordele Main Street Board of Directors, Downtown Business Organization and friends at City Hall.The committal service was in Oklahoma Baptist Church Cemetery.Rainey Family Funeral Service of Cordele had charge of the arrangements.
