On behalf of the Toews family, I would like to extend our sympathy to Gordon, Mark, Connie and families on the passing of your mom. To Eunice and myself, she will always be known as Mrs. Pickup, our piano teacher. We did enjoy our lessons with her.

Mark, LaRee & family

Our thoughts, prayers, and petitions are with you and your family.

Mark, remember our college days when your mother saved us from starvation on several occasions. She arrived with bags of groceries just when we were down to our last nickel and piece of bread. I'll never forget her smile and the genuine concern she had for us and others.

Unfortunately, Ros & I were unable to be there with you today, but our thoughts and prayers were there for you and Eleanor.

GOD BLESS!

Eleanor Pickup was a bright light; always so gracious and vibrant.

She was a committed citizen, a solid example of what we all strive for.

The community of Drayton Valley has suffered a great loss.

Thankfully her legacy will continue, as her love for the theatre and the arts will come alive for all in the new centre, named for her.

Mark, Gordon & Connie:

Our sincere sympathy and prayers to all your family. We admired your Mother very much and will remember her with fondness.

May wonderful memories of her bring comfort and peace to your grieving hearts.

In Spirit,

Tom and Sheila McGee

My thoughts are with you, Mrs. Pickup's family, in this time of loss. I was privileged to have Mrs. Pickup as a piano teacher as a young girl, and have many fond memories of her. I looked forward to her annual Christmas cards to learn what her year had brought. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all.

To Mark, Gordon and Connie - may you find comfort in her soft presence around you. Please accept my deepest sympathies - as one of the great ladies of Drayton Valley, I know that Eleanor will be missed. Her positive outlook on life was an inspiration to all of us. I am so pleased that the centre of the Eleanor Pickup Centre of Performing Arts will be a tribute to her memory.
