Elisa Melendez Obituary
Elisa deeply cherished her parents, husband, children, grandchildren, and the rest of her family. She is survived by her sister Jovita Maldonado, sister Teodora Salcido, son Manuel Melendez, daughters Elizabeth and Elvira Melendez, granddaughters Jeaneen, Vanessa, and Zyanya Rojas, grandsons Damien, Adrian, and Ray Calero, and Ahiven Manuel Melendez and great-granddaughter Avery Joy Calero. Elisa was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Melendez Guillén, father Felipe Cruz Jaramillo, mother Maria Rodríguez Jaramillo, brothers Elías, Jose, Felipe, Víctor and sister Angelita Jaramillo.
Services for Elisa Melendez will be held at Perches Funeral Home West, located at 6111 S Desert Blvd, El Paso, TX 79932. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 8, 2024, from
5 PM to 9 PM.
Perches Funeral Home West in El Paso, TX, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Please accept my deepest condolences. To Jeaneen Rojas, Vanessa Rojas, Elizabeth Melendez, I can't begin to imagine the pain you are going through, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I used to hear good things about Elisa Melendez that she was a wonderful grandma and that she loved her granddaughters so much. La inolvidable Eliza
Nos vienen preciosas bendiciones Del Cielo
Hay veces que son mujeres que pisan nuestro suelo
Que se convierten en hijas, tias y madres
marcando para siempre nuestras identidades
Soy participe de incontabes bendiciones
Gracias a Jehova que hizo buenos corazones
Pero mas mas agradecida por mi tia Eliza
Porque ella siempre me ofrecio su sonrisa
De niña me mimaba y me hablaba muy bonito
Me vestia con esmero y me ponia perfume un poquito
se arremangaba para desenredar mi Cabello
Pero sin jalonearme, me lo dejaba bello
Su platicas siempre era muy asombrosas
Nos contaba anegdotas mucho muy chistosas
como me hacian reir sus ademanes y muecas
extraño tanto esas reuniones tan bellas
Manuel, su galan, "esperar" era lo que hacia
llegaba al medio dia y alas 7, ella salia
Parecia modelo de pasarela--preciosa
su belleza y sencillez la hacian primorosa
Despues la vi vestida de novia esplendorosa
Como siempre, pero mas que nunca muy hermosa
Con mucho anhelo se convirtio en una madre amorosa
Y tuvo 3 hijos que la hicieron mas dichosa
Por esto y mucho mas la extraño inmensamente
Anhelo el dia en que la contemple nuevamente
al encuentro en un abrazo, soltaremos el llanto
Pero enfrente iran sus hijos, sera un encanto
