To Betty's chidren and grandchildren - I worked with Betty at the County and she was always a ray of sunshine. She always had a smile and pleasant demeanor; kind words even in the most difficult situation. She always spoke of her family - the lights of her life. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. May you all find comfort and peace in each other and in God.

Betty and I worked together in Property Assessments at the County, and she always brought a bright smile and cheerful presence to the office. My thoughts are with her children and grandchildren, whom I know she loved so much.

Words cannot express how I feel for the loss of Betty. I met Betty in April of 2005 at Shadyside Hospital in the kitchen, my wife Roberta was diagnosed that day with Leukemia. Betty was such an inspiration that evening how she kicked Leukemia and she was in remission. Betty became my wife’s guardian angel it seemed when Roberta was down Betty would call her and give her inspiration. It began a great friendship and Betty was with us through our journey daily for the next 5 years. There wasn’t a day that Roberta and Betty would not talk. Betty was with my wife as she went through her stem cell transplant and then in 2010 with her stageIV colon cancer Mesta size to her liver talking to Roberta or me daily until Roberta’s death and continued to talk to me daily until she was diagnosed with Leukemia. I often tried to call her we talked sometimes during this illness when she was able. I just want you to know how much I will miss her she was such a good soul and a great friend. I will keep her memory bank she has touched my life. I Love you guys and you have my deepest sympathy you had a great mom and grandmother.
