I once was Betty's nurse in New Britain and it only took her half my shift to ask for my name, and address so she could send me letters and keep in touch! She stated she felt "close" to me some how. Well she did what she said, and we exchanged many letters over a 3 year period. She use to apologize for her handwritting due to a stroke she had. This did not matter I loved her letters and I miss her letters, and thought they stopped because I moved to Florida, but now I understand why I did not hear back from her recently. My thoughts and prayers for the family! She did touch many hearts, even ones others do not know about!

We were truly blessed to have Betty for our neighbor for the last 40 plus years. She was the nicest, most sincere & giving person that we have ever known. Both our sons loved her as well. Memories of her sharing her wonderfully prepared meals, were always a delight. Her two delightful daughters, Debbie & Maryann, also with kind hearts, whom we had grown to love as well. Totally missing the whole family as they sold their home due to Betty's ailing the last few years. We will forever Bless her & her family with wishes for peace eternally. PS: We always looked forward to seeing her gentle pleasant smile and warm friendship.....RIP sweet lady. Sincerely, the Guerrette family
