Elizabeth Nora Hale

February 3,1932 - April 29,2021
Our Mom, and beloved wife of the late Ron Hale for 66 years passed away peacefully at Carpenter Hospice at age 89. Our parents shared 19 homes around the globe in England, Trinidad, Sarnia, California, Burlington, Calgary, Texas and lastly Oakville.
Mom and Dad lived in Glenn Abbey for 33 years where they loved to walk their adopted Afghan Hounds, Ashley and Jazzbeau through the trails. The "love of my Dad's life", mom recently resided at Tansley Woods and Pearl and Pine residences in Burlington. Mom loved to swim, play golf, and maintained a busy social calendar of bridge and dinner parties for many years. She was a consummate letter writer to us all and many friends around the world. Mom retired from nursing shortly after marrying our dad to raise a family, and she will forever be remembered for her advice to all of us and her favourite line, "shall I tell you something ".
Her memories live on in her three daughters and their families, Jane Hale Savaheli (California), Julie and Brian McKeen (Burlington) and Sandy Hale and Rui Malhinha (Carlisle). Survived by her Grandchildren living locally are Blair McKeen, Tara and Tim Egan, and Clare Malhinha. Living in California are Aryan, Shandiz, Nariman, and Nima. Great Grandchildren are Henry, and Chloe in Canada and Sakina and Ilyas in California.
Our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers, and friends that have supported our family for the past 2 and a half years. Our mom will be laid to rest forever at Burlington Memorial Gardens with our dad who passed away October 15, 2020 and waits patiently for their next cup of tea together. There will be no visitation or services at this time and there is an online card at Burlington's Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, www.arbormemorial.ca .
