Elizabeth Knight Obituary
Phoenix - Elizabeth H. Knight passed away April 10, 2018 at the age of 91. Elizabeth was born in Brisbane, Australia to Elizabeth and Harry Ensinger. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth and daughter, Anita Marlin. Survivors include brothers Rob and Gary Ensinger of Brisbane, sons Lloyd and Glen Knight, son-in- law Larry Marlin and grandchildren Joshua Knight, Zachary Knight, Alexander Knight, Christopher Marlin, Michael Marlin, Rachael (Marlin) Burns, and Matthew Marlin. Great grandchildren are Riley and Chase Knight.
Elizabeth and Kenneth were married in Australia and she moved to Phoenix in 1946 as a young war bride. She lived the rest of her life in Arizona and was active in community affairs, telephone Pioneers, Devonshire Senior Center and Scouting (resulting in two sons being Eagle Scouts). A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28 at 11:00, at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated that donations be made to the Devonshire Senior Center, 2802 E. Devonshire Ave., PHX, AZ 85016.
She will be missed by all.
