Elizabeth A. LaPointe

Elizabeth A. (Brady) LaPointe, age 93, of Wilbraham, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Dr. William L. and Helen (Storey) Brady and had lived in Western Massachusetts for the past 75 years, residing in both Springfield and Wilbraham. Elizabeth was a wonderful Mom and homemaker. She loved going to the beach, especially during the winter months in Florida. She is survived by five children: Patricia A. Ashby and her husband Dr. Thomas Ashby of Penfield, NY; Janice M. Mulvaney and her husband Atty. Edward P. Mulvaney of Holyoke; Corrine D. DeCoste of Rochester, NY; Deborah L. Wajdo of Northampton; and Keith J. LaPointe of Wilbraham; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two sons, Timothy and Joel W. LaPointe; a grandson, Jeremy LaPointe; a sister, Alyce Devine; a brother, Joseph Brady, and a son-in-law, William H. DeCoste. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements. All services are private.
