Dear Stiles Family...Just before I left Dallas to come to our home in Ireland for several months, I looked up on the wall beside our bed, to see the lovely embroidery that Liz did for our Wedding, which will be 29 years ago this Sunday...I thought of her love of Mother, what fun she was, what a super friend to so many, and we loved talking about dreams and other psychic things...I miss her, as I miss Mom. Still so very, very hard...some days much worse than others. What cheers me and gets me through is 'seeing' Liz, Mom, Ibby, Dorothy, Frankie and Libby Up There, having a blast in Heaven, still loving us down here on Earth. Hugs to you all.
Love, Judy Spencer Merrill

Eddie, George and I were so sorry to hear about your mom. Though we never met her, it sounds like the world was a better place because she was in it. I know she will be missed. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mr. Stiles, Andy, Clay, Eddie Gray, and your extended families,
I just heard today of Mrs. Stiles' death. What a sad surprise it was! The last time I saw her was right before my own mother's death, when dear Liz brought a dish of her delicious baked custard to Mom (Ibby), which she did often. When Mom wouldn't eat anything else, she would ALWAYS eat that custard! I was always glad to see Mrs. Stiles at the Manor, and I was so impressed with how vital she was, both mentally and physically, and how kind to always remember her old friends who had been forced by life's circumstances to leave their homes for the Hanover Manor.
Mrs. Stiles was one of the great ladies of Ashland -- another huge loss to our town--- but I know she is up there in Heaven now with all her old Ashland friends to whom she was so gracious. I envy her being able to see my own beloved parents. I know they are having a ball, as they invariably did on this earth.
May your treasured memories sustain you in this difficult loss.
With fondness and deepest sympathy,
Susan Webb Russell

Just heard minutes ago of Liz's Passing. We spoke in March at the Manor, delivering her usual fabulous egg custard to friends, including Mother. And, when Mother went to Heaven, we spoke of many things Spiritual and Loving. She was so dear to Mother and all of us. Her devotion to her Family, Friends and Ashland were immense and constant all through her Life and she was the dearest Friend to Mother.
I know that all our Dear Ones in Heaven are celebrating her Arrival, as we mourn and miss her here.
Deep prayers and loving thoughts to all of you from all of us.
Love, Judy and Barry Merrill
