Ellen Maxine Erickson

Ellen Maxine Erickson, age 88 of Edmonds, Washington passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019. Maxine was born to Minnie and George Frame in Denver Colorado in February of 1930. At a young age she moved to Kansas and later to Portland, Oregon where she graduated from Lincoln High School. In 1948 she met Roy Erickson and they married in June 1950. They raised three children. The family enjoyed camping and the outdoors while living in Oregon until 1970. A career move for Roy took them to Washington where they have resided for 49 years. Maxine worked in retail and as an administrative assistant. With the Puget Sound so nearby the family became active in boating. After retirement she and Roy enjoyed traveling and spent many winters in Arizona golfing, hiking and spending time with family including two granddaughters. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday March 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the Richmond Beach Congregational Church United Church of Christ 1512 N.W. 195th Street Shoreline, WA 98177.
