Ellen Kirby Obituary
Ellen welcomed friends , family and acquaintances into her home. If she knew you needed a place to stay, she gave no thought to any difficulties, she would take you in.
Ellen's passions in life were family tree research and cross stitch. She was very good at both. Most of her research was before the internet existed and she would spend hours at public records or libraries taking handwritten notes or making copies. Her cross stitch embroidery was beautiful and she loved to gift pieces to friends and family for life events.
At the time of her passing, Ellen was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Dennis Parker, her brothers Paul Michael Crockett, Charles Edward Crockett and John Delbo. She is survived by husband Sylvanus "Junior" Kirby, son Richard Dennis Parker Jr., daughters Paula Lynn Addison nee Parker and Karen Christine Parker. Also by step children Ruth, Donnie, Karen and Virginia Kirby. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
