Elliot Earl Brown

Elliot Earl Brown passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 17, 2022. He was 84 years of age and the beloved husband of the late Kay Rostetter Brown. He was the devoted father of Karie B. Brown and Elliot E. G. Brown and the grandfather of Austin, Collin and Ethan Brown. He was the father-in-law of Michael L. Brown II. Elliot was the son of the late Ernest and Ophelia Brown. He is also survived by his sisters Sharon Lassetter and Marsha Brown. He received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Southwestern Louisiana Institute (presently known as University of Louisiana Lafayette) and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling the world with his family. He also treasured his many road trips across the country with his loyal Boxer Poppy and Redbone Coonhound Dahlia. We would like to thank our family priest Rev. Doug Brougher for his prayers, support and devotion to Elliot. We'll miss you dearly and you will forever be in our hearts. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie, LA. Visitation began at 11:00 am and lasted until the Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm. Internment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
