Elliot was a great friend of Saquatucket Harbor where he tied his little tug the LILI MARLENE. He got quite a kick out of using the boat and often volunteered to act as race committee and start our Sunday afternoon and Wednesday night races. I know he got quite a kick out of the enthusiasm we all had. He had many stories of his own life as a competitive sailor. Oh yes I forgot to mention his black lab Radar that followed him everywhere onboard including occasional visits to Thompson's Clam Bar for a late afternoon martini! Elliot was very proud of all his kids and a more supportive parent there never was. He was a great guy and good friend. He will be missed in Harwich Port.
