Emily and I were in the same graduating class at C.E. Byrd. We were in a carpool together, and I remember the last day of class as seniors, we (about 4 of us) rode our bikes to school...in dresses of course! She was a kind, very nice person, who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

I stayed with Emily and Bob the last few years I was in Texas. I have so many great memories. Me and Emily and Glennye would watch horror flicks in the living room and jump scare Glennye haha. She also helped my brother John through one of the worst times in his life. I'll always be grateful to her for that. You will be missed Emily. We love you.

Her house was always the meeting spot for me and all of my cousins when we were little. We would swim in the pool, and shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July. One time we ate every single cup of Jello that the house contained (even though we didn't particularly like Jello) and she was not happy with us. We were troublemakers, but after all of our antics, she was able to laugh about most of them. We love and miss you, Gammy.
