Emma Jane Echohawk, 85, beloved and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 14, 2008, in Louisville, Colorado. Jane was born on September 27, 1922 in Maries County, Missouri. She made her home in Farmington, New Mexico for over 50 years before moving to Colorado to be near her family.

She was an exemplary mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember her delight in them and her love for them.

She is survived by her children Mary Adamson (Lynn), Lucille Echohawk, John Echohawk (Kathy), Fred Echohawk (Barbara), Larry Echohawk (Terry), and her brother Dorsey Conrad (Jeanetta). She is also survived by her grandchildren Autumn, Chris, Sarah, Travis, Tobin, Tyson, Jenny, Paul, Mark, Matthew, Emily, Michael, Crystal and 33 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Conrad, husband of many years, Ernest Echohawk, her son, Tom Echohawk, her granddaughter Jewel, her great grandchildren Jordan, Brielle and Hagen, and her sister Sylvia Crowder and brother David Conrad.
