Enriqueta Vela Hernandez

Enriqueta Vela Hernandez Enriqueta V. Hernandez, age 81, passed on peacefully and entered Heaven’s Gate on January 13, 2011 surrounded by her children. She was born in Yorktown Texas on July 4, 1929, one of thirteen children born to Emilia & Rumaldo Vela. She was preceded in death by her husband Santos Hernandez Jr.. She is survived by her children Robert Dale Hernandez, wife Rosemary, Diana Landgraf, husband Martin, Randy Hernandez, wife Evangeline, and Santos Hernandez III, wife Terry, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her total devotion in life was focused on her family. Her legacy is her genuine and unconditional love she gave to everyone of her children and grandchildren whom she adored. Visitation will be on Monday, January 17th, from 6-9 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18th, at St. Jude Catholic Church at 127 S. San Augustine. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North at 20900 IH 10 West.
