We are heartbroken and at a loss for words at the loss of our guy: husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, best friend.

The expressions of love from the community Eric cultivated through his life, work, travel, and passions have been so meaningful. Many came from the friends of his sons-we'll let one speak for us: "I'm so heartbroken that his life was cut so short, but man did he have a lot of life in his years. He had and exuded and shared so much joy and love and kindness. I've never felt so immediately comfortable at someone's home than with your parents at the cabin. And his impact on your family and friends and the world was incredible and he's leaving such a beautiful legacy. It's heartbreaking to think of the moments he'll miss, but he's so proud of you and your brother and I'm sure is resting easy knowing he set you guys up with the strong set of values you live every day. And he didn't want to miss a moment when he was around-he was the man, a great man. And really [....] funny."

Our family will gather to honor him at his favorite place in the world: the cabin he lovingly built for us.

Eric Uncle has been a huge positive and inspirational impact on my Dad´s life and by default all of our lives also. He was such a lovely and happy energetic Soul from our memories of him and we are sure my Dad received mentorship to enhance his skills, morals and values that he believed in and will keep with him in his name.

Eric was such an amazing person who created so many positive and powerful memories for all the loved he touched and blessed. My family and I were one such beneficiary.
We both built a very complex but profitably business in Asia for Cargill from 1994-2004 and he was always there with his wit and humour, his passion for building the business from scratch, learning from others and a top notch communicator. He will be missed by all of us here in Singapore but we remain grateful that he has found his peace and will still be out there looking after his family and friends. May his noble soul rest in peace Tarun and Kavita Gandhi

Eric was an amazing guy to be around. He always had a smile on his face and was always upbeat. I didn't see Eric too often, but I knew him for many years and no matter how long it had been since I last saw him, he made me feel like it was yesterday. A very classy guy that will be missed, but definitely not forgotten.

I have no words to express how deeply sorry I am with Erics departure.... He was an exceptional man and lider. He always was positive and full of jokes. He always trust us and suporrt us as a lider and as a person. He was always peding on our families. He trully a warrior now is with our lord Jesus. My condolences for all the family.
