My hear is deeply saddened at receiving this news. Eric was a vibrant, young boy at my childcare center, Ed-U-Care, many years ago. Full of energy and mischief. My sympathy to his parents and brother Tyler. May he rest in peace.

My favorite memory will forever be playing soccer at GenOn as a scrawny high school girl and Eric (aptly but lovingly given the nickname "Bruiser") absolutely trucking me - but then once he realized what he´d done he proceeded to, with the funniest look of horror on his face, pitch himself forward to catch me and break my fall, most definitely eating turf himself in the process. I popped up laughing hysterically as he sprung up frantic making sure he hadn´t hurt me! Says a lot about his character and gentleness even as he was in his most aggressive/competitive mode

Eric always gave folks the benefit of the doubt and got along with everyone. Every conversation I ever had with Eric was something special. He will be missed <3

My family moved across the street from the Rosenbergers in 2007. Tyler and Eric were my son's first friends, at a new school, in a new neighborhood. There were many good memories of them growing up together but my favorite is that Eric would always say "yes" to my experimental recipes and old-timey dishes when the other boys that were at the house that day would pass. I could count on him to share a plate or bowl of whatever with me.

I pray that the Rosenberger family feels the comfort of our Lord when they are missing him the most.
