I am so happy to be able to write something. Loren, Jeff and Kevin, Pat, Joel and I were devastated by the news that Eric had died. I remember sitting with Lisa at the basketball games and watching Eric running around. He seemed so happy, always smiling. You may never see this entry but I know I go on old sites for Chase and am always pleased that someone has not forgotten him. We will never forget Eric and we hold all of you in our hearts.

Dear Loren and family,

I am sure you do not know me but I remember meeting your boys in the early 90's when Lisa used to shop at Johnson's (where I worked) in Elk River. I especially remember Eric, his short red hair, his bright little smile, his bashfulness (at that time!) and how he would stay right close to Lisa when she shopped. She also would come by to say hi to me there.... I later worked with Lisa at Guardian Angel's for a couple of years.... She was a wonderful nurse. And I remember talking with her that morning in Sept. when she was finishing her night shift and I was starting the day shift on 100 wing. That day a special lady earned wings and Eric is now right by her side.
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

I am so saddened by the great loss of Eric...what a sweet, sweet kid he always was! He made me laugh and had such a sweet spirit! Loren, Jeff and Kevin, know that my prayers are with you. The only consolation is that he is now with Lisa! Whenever we sing the Psalm, "Shepard me oh God, beyond my wants, beyond my fears, from death into life." I think of Lisa as this was the psalm we sang as St. Andrew's choir right after she passed away. Trust in this now. He will shepard Eric too. Lean on Jesus, He loves you all so much!
