Eric Schwappach Obituary
Born on December 3, 1962, Eric possessed a keen sense of humor, consistently bringing laughter and joy to those around him. His love for food was unparalleled, always eager to try new dishes, especially cherishing the green chile from his home state of New Mexico. Despite the miles, his family's love remained strong, a testament to the deep bonds that defined his life.
Eric leaves behind a legacy of deep relationships formed over a 30-year career at Total System Services, Inc. His warm spirit and generosity made a lasting impact on his colleagues and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tatiana; daughter, Kati; mother, Micheline; siblings, Christopher (Mary), Michèle (Lloyd), Laurie (Rick); niece, Alexandra (Ryne); and great-nephew, Magnus. His beloved cats, Jasper and Bella, also survive him. Eric was preceded in death by his father.
A mass requesting prayers for Eric will be held at Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras, NM, on Sunday, August 18, at noon.
A celebration of Eric's life will take place at Ribs BBQ, 12220 NM 14 in Cedar Crest, NM, beginning at 1:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to honor his memory with happy recollections and shared meals.
Eric's kindness, humor, and loving nature will forever be cherished and remembered by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Eric.
