Eris Dalton Knowles

ERIS DALTON KNOWLES Eris Dalton Knowles, 76, of Hobe Sound, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Eris was born in Calvary, GA, and had been a resident of Hobe Sound for the past 12 years after coming from Miami, FL. Prior to retirement she worked 21 years at the VA Outpatient Center. Eris was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, post 10132 and an active "Cootie" in Hobe Sound. Survivors include her beloved husband of 52 years Danny Knowles of Hobe Sound, FL; three sons, Larry, Jerome, Doug Knowles of Broward County; two daughters, Denise Grier of Athens, GA; Jean Mazur of Port St. Lucie; twelve grandchildren, Chris, Kyle, Jason, Jerry, Jr., Drew, Daniel, Thomas, Michael, Tania, Timothy, Doug, Deanna; three great-grandchildren, Devon Knowles, Layla Grier, Samantha Eris Crownover; her mother, Mallie Dalton; one sister, Elaine Dorsette; sisters in her heart, Cathy Woodworth and Toni Einslin both of Hobe Sound, FL. A memorial service was held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Young & Prill Funeral Home in Stuart, FL.
