Erna Wilhelm

Erna Wilhelm 1920 - 2021 Erna Wilhelm, late of Lampman, SK passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Lampman Community Health Centre at the age of 100 years. Erna was predeceased by her parents; husband Henry; brothers: Fred Hammermeister, Bob (Erma) Hammermeister, Harry (Lillian) Hammermeister and Harold Hammermeister; sisters: Irma (Robert) Neumann, Minnie (Art) Pehl, Lily (Sam) Rode and son-in-law Larry Hesketh. Erna was also predeceased by Henry's siblings: Patty Wilhelm, Alice (Clarence) Wilhelm, Marj Wilhelm, Marian Wilhelm, Marian (Ernest) Wilhelm and Kuno Freitag. Erna is survived by her six children: Rose (Derrick) Schmidt, Calgary, AB, Richard (Val-Marie) Wilhelm, Lampman, SK, Ruth (Don) Taylor, Devon, AB, Rita Dorwart, Grande Prairie, AB, Dianne (Raymond) Carriere, Winnipeg, MB and Edwina (Ron) Rook, Rocky Mountain House, AB; one sister Hertha "Dolly" Freitag; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law: Walda Hammermeister, Gisela Hammermeister and Marilyn Hammermeister and two brothers-in-law: Elmer Wilhelm and Gerald Wilhelm. The private family Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK with Intern Pastor Sharon Kane officiating. Interment took place at the Woodley Cromar Cemetery following the service. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Lampman Community Health Centre Trust (designate to the Lampman Health Care Centre), P.O. Box 100, Lampman, SK, S0C 1N0 in memory of Erna.
