of Towanda, PA, formerly of NE Phila. on February 4, 2018. A proud retired member of the Philadel-phia Police Department. Survived by Gerry and his children Eddie Colwell, Mickey Hoch, Lizzy Payne, Alyce Colwell, Ben Colwell, Jenny Colwell, Valerie Kennedy, Laraine Colwell and the late Ernest Colwell, Jr. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Service and Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the F.O.P. Survivors Benefit Fund, 11630 Caroline Rd., Phila., PA 19154-2110.

still trying to cope with all this. happy i saw you, but not so happy with the circumstances. I can't stop beating myself up for not seeing you because of the distance or even calling you. I remeber when seany somehow locked himself out of your house in the middle of the night, banging on the door. You woke up to a tap on the door and pulled a shot gun on him!! a hahahah or when you made scrapple and it wasn't done, it was so watery, and mom made us eat it. You will forever be in our hearts, please look over our great ginormous family.
