WONG, Ernest MD, FRCP (c) May 14, 1932 - March 17, 2010 With sadness we announce that Ernest Wong passed away on March 17, 2010. Fortunately his life partner of 46 years, Charles Dyer was at his side. Ernie was born in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan and graduated from the University of Manitoba. He was a practicing Psychiatrist for 32 years. Ernie was a gentle good man of fine character and a truly loyal friend, he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his siblings Effie, Andy (Eva), Pat (Alex), Albert (Darlene), Joyce, Ben (Jock), Allan (Deanna) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on March 25, 2010 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. The Service is at 2:00 p.m. and a Reception will follow at 3:00pm at Forest Lawn. Slender at first, they quickly gather force, Growing in richness as they run their course, Once started, they do not turn back again, Rivers, and years, and friendship with good men. -Sanskrit Rest in peace dear friend

I am saddened to hear the passing of Ernest, having been one of the helping professions , he will be missed by the community.I hope that he will find happiness in eternity where we all will enter some day.

my sincer condolenses go out to you i have known you and Ernie since the beginning of Prime Timers and we use to go the Hotel years ago it bring back many memories when we use to go the hotel years ago for dinner and other functions my prayers and my best wishes go out to you in fact i have pictures of Prime Timers New Years party there God Bless and may the angles watch over you
