Ernie Pacheco Jr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 6, 2025.
Ernie Pacheco Jr. passed away on July 8, 2025. A devoted son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle, and friend, Ernie was known for his strength, generosity, and big heart. He was always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer a lesson.

He loved his family deeply and was happiest surrounded by his children and grandchildren, especially sitting in his front yard listening to oldies, watching the kids play, and swapping stories with friends and neighbors. He had a passion for lowriders and loved creating memories his loved ones will cherish forever.

Ernie spent 30 years with the Colton Joint Unified School District, working behind the scenes to ensure students had a safe, welcoming place to come to each day. After decades of dedicated service, he retired leaving a lasting mark on the community he helped support.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife and father. He is survived by his mother, Esther; his children, Ernie III, Elizabeth, Louie, and Cynthia; his grandchildren, Jerry, Valarie, Sophia, Louis II, Annalise, Mary, Anthony, and Noah. He is also survived by his sisters, Christine and Irene, and many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.

Though he's no longer with us, Ernie's love and legacy live on in every lesson he taught, every story we tell, and every memory we hold close.
