Esther Lena Danna Clement was born June 4, 1921 in Independence, LA. She passed from this world and into the loving arms of our Savior on Tuesday morning, September 28, 2010, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by daughters; Mary Ann and husband Brian L. Stevenson; LaVerne King-Arceneaux; son, Virgil E.Clement, "Jr" and wife Garnet ; sister, Josephine Everett-Coleman-Powell; and brother, John M. Everett. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Gregory K. Spring and wife Tonilyn, Robyn R. King-Williams, Anna Lucas, and Travis M. Clement; and 6 great-grandchildren, Remy and Danna Spring, Tyrell and Briana King, Desirea and Harley Lucas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Virgil E. Clement, Sr; her father, Epifanio Danna and mother, Anna Macaluso; brothers, Joe Danna, Nurphy Danna, Dominic Danna, Jimmy J. Everett; sister, Elouise Everett-Bergeron; daughter, Vernie Ann Clement-Spring; and great-granddaughter, Kristi R. Stanga. Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and countless family and friends. She was truly loved by all who knew her and cherished by her family as she was the bond that held us together. She will forever remain in our hearts and will be missed until we are reunited in the House of Our Lord and Savior. A special thanks to the staff of Concerned Care Home Health and the staff of Synery Home Care. Friends will be received Friday, October 1, 2010 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Louisiana from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and also on Saturday, October 2, 2010 after 10:00 a.m.. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. officated by Mitch William of First Baptist Church, Independence, LA. Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence, LA.
