Eva Bailey Obituary
She was born July 13, 1921, in Sullivan County, Tenn., a lifelong resident of the Bristol. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Sallie Bailey. She was a retired employee with Carolyn Manufacturing, Monroe Calculating and Big Jack Manufacturing. She delivered Bristol newspapers for almost 18 years to Edgemont Towers Residents.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. Bailey and William R. Bailey, and two half brothers, Clabe Harris and Bill Harris.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; a special caregiver at Edgemont Towers, Bonnie Dixon; and a special daughter she didn't have, Nikki.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in the Weaver Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Rowlette officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Junior King, Wayne Allen King, Steve King, Ronnie King, Ricky Bailey, Ernie Bailey, Charlie Bailey and Herbert Hampton.

A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Bristol Nursing Home for their loving care.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Weaver Funeral Home.
