Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 2, 2016.
Eva Ann Hollingsworth left this world in the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ March 1, 2016 at the age of 70 years old.
Eva Ann was born to Prentiss L and Hilma E Hollingsworth on September 13, 1945.
Eva Ann was preceded in death by her parents Prentiss and Hilma Hollingsworth and brother Henry "HC" Carl Hollingsworth. Eva Ann is survived by her aunts Helen Ekdahl and Esther Smith and uncle Carl Larson and wife Delores; cousins Dewey and Donna Hollingsworth, Bobby and Betty Ann Reece, Sherry Hollingsworth, Glenn and Tennie Faykus, Mike and Sharon Stephenson, Lance and Barbara Bledsoe, Kenneth and Katie Raney, Kerry Ekdahl, Wayne and Candy Larson, Ron Larson, Thomas and Sandy Beard, Stephen Larson, Tray Larson, James Larson, and many more extended family, friends and loved ones. Eva Ann was an avid outdoors woman. Eva Ann was very active in the National Wild Turkey Federation. She loved hunting, along with watching Professional Bull Riding, which she had traveled over the US following. She loved being with friends and traveling. Eva Ann was a historian to the Hollingsworth family and President of the Hollingsworth reunion for many years and she took this task very seriously. She loved her family above all else. One never knew what you would learn when visiting Eva Ann, did she want to share her latest travels watching bull riding or did she want to let you know that she loved Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh? Eva Ann had many interest in life, she worked hard, took care of family and friends and if you were within her reach you would not go hungry nor would you worry about a roof over your head for a night or the rest of your life. Eva Ann truly followed her Christian beliefs and helped any fellow human or critter in need. She loved all and did not pass judgement. Eva Ann was a devout Christian and when she was healthy and able was an active member of her church.

I did not know Ann that well but I know she was a very special person .She was so good for my brother. They had a very special relationship and loved spending time together. She is going to be greatly missed. When I hear the word Texas I'll always think of Ann. May she rest in peace.

Words can not say how much Ann will be missed. She came into our lives via the PBR in Vegas, that weekend is when we became a part of her PBR family. We spent some special times together when she came up here to Idaho to visit Dareld. We became her Idaho family besides being apart of her PBR family. Thank you for being in our lives...Love Jennifer & Tom, Wyatt Todd and kids..and of course our dad Dareld

Eva Ann.....To me and my three sisters she was our baby sister. We met the Hollingsworth family when she was three years old. The Hollingsworth family became lifelong, close and dear "family" to my family, the Yager's.

Eva Ann was the kindest, most caring and loving person I have ever known. She was also so very strong and kept a wonderful attitude dealing with her illnesses. She traveled to Corpus Christi twice a year to visit me and my mother who she called "mom". The last few visits we could tell her health was taking a toll on her, yet she gracefully accepted her life with all the faith she could have. One of the best blessings she could ever have had was Terri and Rusty McCracken, who lovingly took care of her for many years. Another great blessing was the love of her life, Dareld. My heart is sad that I will not see this beautiful person until I see her in Heaven. Rest in peace, baby sister.

We grew up together, shared many wonderful memories. She was considered "our sister". There was so much love and admiration for her. So glad she came into my life and now she has her savior "Christ". She was our stepping stone indeed! Forever our true friend. Sissy Janet Kay Whitehead

Eva Ann, my sisters and I knew her as our "baby" sister. She called our mother mom. How I will miss her visits. We loved her from when we first met her when she was just 3 years old. I have never known a kinder, more loving and giving person in my life. Rest in peace, baby sis.

Eva Ann had the kindest and biggest heart of anyone I ever met. She loved everyone and worked harder than anyone. She will be missed.
