RYHORCHUK Eva Fraser Ryhorchuk (Roy) passed away quietly Monday, December 13th, 2010 in Luther Care Home, Saskatoon. She was born in Shotts, Scotland October 24, 1923, and came to Canada as a war bride in 1943, settling in Meadow Lake. Eva worked as a telephone operator and supervisor with SaskTel and transferred to North Battleford in 1965. After her retirement in 1981 she lived a few more years in Battleford before moving to Saskatoon. Eva is survived by her children: Richard (Jillian), Australia, Vivian (Ray) Edworthy, Wakaw, Douglas (Mary), Qualicam Beach, Valery (David) Wilkins, Wetaskiwin, Terry (Ann), North Battleford; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews in Scotland and Ontario. She took great pride in her membership in the Order of the Royal Purple and a judge with the Canadian Figure Skating Association. In keeping with Eva's wishes their will not be a funeral service and a family interment service will be held at a later date.
