It was easily one of the highlights of my young life to go to see the live show at the masset community hall. RIP to a wonderful entertainer! Thank you for your gift!

I was hoping someone from the family could get in touch with me. I'm pretty sure Evan was my uncle through Dwight & Loretta.

Evan Kemp and The Trail Riders ... the first concert I ever attended, Vanderhoof BC, 1965. I was just a young wanna-be musician, and they were the "real deal". Very exciting. I never had the opportunity to meet the man and thank him ... so I'll do it now. Evan, thanks for the inspiration!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Evan Kemp. We've lost a true Canadian Country Music Legend.
From the fans and all the other Artists he entertained during Country Music Week in Edmonton in 2004.

I am sorry to hear of Evan Kemp's passing. I heard of his passing through someone in my mother's care facility. The facility, and this family member, have both been looking for copies of Evan's music. I gave the facility my copy, as my mother loves to hear it. Does anyone know where other copies might be available?
Sincerely, Gail

To the Family:
Your Father's beautiful voice has brought many hours of pleasure and blessing to me over the years, and will continue through his recordings - especially the "God is Love" CD which is a wonderful tribute to his faith.

My husband was going thru the Vancouver paper as we sat down at a local store to have some hot coffees and he says look..Evan Kemp died. It brought back memories. As a child my parrents had taken us to see him in Sorrento.I am 52 now..and it had to have been when I was around 5 yrs of age. My parents even had one of his records that he made with Aragon Records. When they passed on, my brother gave me the records since we still have a record player. I enjoyed listening to his music ''The Beautifil Nicola Valley''was one I liked ''On The Golden shore'' was another..there were others too as well.
He was a great singer and I am glad my parents had bought the record.
I extend my sympathies at this time for his family. May memories of him brighten your days ahead..
