Evelyn Aydell Boucher, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of Walker, LA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. She was a retired Executive Secretary with the Legal Division of the Louisiana State Department of Hospitals for many years. There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until Religious services at 10:00 a.m. Religious Services will be conducted by her brother, Rev. Carlton M. Aydell. She is survived by her brother, Carlton M. Aydell and wife Kathy Aydell, sister, Violet Aydell Pendarvis, nieces and nephews, Lora Aydell Cranmer, Sara Aydell, Kay Pendarvis Sibley, Kathy Pendarvis Clark, Vicki Pendarvis Schuler, and Robert "Bubba" Pendarvis. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Senator Drayton R. Boucher, who passed away in 1983. Their 23-year union was a source of warmth and strength to each other. Also preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Aydell, and a sister, Gladys Aydell Whatley. She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, LA. Mrs. Boucher,
Thank you for the many years of friendship, love and most of all for always being who you were! I will miss you greatly, but happy that you have gained your heavenly wings and once again with the love of your life Mr.Boucher. I will miss you, until we meet again.
I love you, love your adopted daughter.

For Mr.Carlton and Mrs.Kathy and rest of the family, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister, aunt. She was a wonderful person and dearly loved. May your family be wrapped in Gods losing arms at this time.
