On Reflection--Evelyn always seemed a cheerful person and willing to help others. There are a couple times that stand out in my mind, I really needed some curtains for our porch in Maple Grove, had found material at a Garage sale, but didn't sew myself, but as busy as I'm sure she was she offered to make them for me, What a blessing they were, they made the porch a nice place to sit in on summer evenings, even used it for an extra bedroom a few times! She also covered an old sleeping bag for me, making it a great quilt with curtains to match, my daughter Janel enjoyed them for several years.I even have a picture of her on that quilt. Have to add how much we loved her carrot cake, I know she will be missed and remembered by many in many ways--I know I will miss her--My thoughts and prayers are with all of you--Love Mel

I want to send my love and condolences to our family. Although I have not seen my grandmother in several years she has stayed in my heart and in my prayers. I will always remember the good times we had both in Minnesota and California when she would come out to escape the cold of winter. I know my grandmother will be greatly missed. It is in this time of grieving that I hope we can find the strength as family to come together put aside all of the differences we each may have and help each other through this very difficult time.

I just wanted to send my Love to the family and I will always remember all the summers my family and I would make the annual trip to Minnesota and arrive and grandma's and could always count on good cooking and baking. Although it has been a long time since I have been back I will always remember the good times and will greatly miss my Grandmother. I love you Grandma and I know your in a better place.
