Birthday Memories of a loving granny whose 80th Birthday occurs today, 20th November.
We stood beside your bedside and held your hand with love,
We stroked your hand with tenderness and prayed to God above.
But we knew the pain you suffered, so we had to let you go,
The pain you left within our hearts, no one will ever know.
A million tears won't bring you back, we know because we cried,
Neither will a broken heart, we know as ours has just broke in two,
And if there is another life, and we are born again,
We pray to God to give us back the granny we had before.
Loved you yesterday,
Love you still,
Always have and always will. xx
Happy 80th Birthday Granny.
Sadly missed and never forgotten, your loving grandchildren Johnpaul, Lynnmarie and families. xx
