You don't know me but I remember Everett from the Bank years ago. Always a nice friendly guy. God Speed.

Hi, You may or may not remember me.
My name is Steve. I used to deliver your mail back in the late
70s'. Remember me, Judy? Anyway, I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your loss. Your dad was a great guy. He was warm, intelligent, funny and a great conversationalist. I really enjoyed
our frequent chats at the bank. I know you will all miss him very much. Take care and be strong.
