Everis James Moore

Everis James Moore AKA "One" Age 61 , of New Orleans , Louisiana ,entered into eternal rest on July 26, 2025. Everis was born August 17, 1964 in New Orleans , Louisiana, the son of late Earl James Moore and Merita Delores Dupre Moore. Everis was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans . Everis was known for his love for his family, comical ,witty sense of humor, and how much he loved to dance and have a good time.Throughout his life, Everis went by his nickname "One" and he embodied his nickname in so much that whenever he was photographed he held up one finger. Everis family would like him to be remembered for his kind heart, perseverance, willingness to help others, and his love for his family.

Everis was preceded in death by His father Earl James Moore , mother, Merita Delores Dupre Moore, siblings Nevils Moore, Robert Sylvester, Sandra Sylvester, and grandson Charles Payne

Remaining to cherish Everis's memory is his siblings Avis Marie Moore, Alfreda Sylvester, Kevin Sylvester,Wayne Sylvester and Joseph Sylvester, children Arianne Payne Moore, India Martin Parker, Bianca Higgins, and Everis "half" Moore, grandchildren: Leah Bailey, Brandy Bailey, Ronald Payne, Cionnye Lynsai Parker, Ce' Andrick Na' chrys Parker , Amarie Jones, Keyminee Higgins, Tayala Curiel, Tahyri Higgins, great-grandchildren: Jesus Sanchez III, Charles Cayetano, and Belle Jackson, nieces: Natisha Moore- Wright, Libra Moore, Egenea Moore, Larhonda Moore, Chrishonda Moore, and Tangier Thompson , nephews; Christopher Magee and Kasaya Moore, great nieces and nephews Elgin Moore, Myrielle Soublet, Cinque Tropez, Monte Moore, Antanae Marshall,Kareem Moore, Dale Moore, Dallas Moore, great-great niece and nephews, Kiomi Moore, Taz Marshall, Carter Marshall, along with a host of other great and great-great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held August 16, 2025 at Battle Ground Baptist Church, 2241 Flood St. New Orleans , LA 70117 with Pastor Eric Dorsey officiating.
