Evon, I really miss you! I miss getting you cards and letters, especially your always early Christmas card full of news. I miss our frequent phone calls. I miss how you were always so interested in my life, and supportive of whatever I was involved with. You were the best boss I ever had and continued to be one of my dearest friends throughout my life. My life is a lot emptier without you in it. Until we meet again one of these days I will continue to miss you.

Evon was the best boss I ever had. She was also a mentor to me through the years - often, when faced with a crisis I would ask myself "How would Evon handle this?" and try to do accordingly. Most importantly, we were friends for over 50 years. I will miss her always.

I remember Evon fondly. I worked with her at Michigan Bell from 1967-1968. She always had a great smile. She was a dedicated worker who was a very effective supervisor at that time. I am happy to learn that she had such a long and effective life. I send my sympathies to her family.

Eveon, you were a wonderful neighbor here at Red Fox Hills. Your positive attitude, great smile and perfect pot-luck meatballs will be missed by all who knew you!
